Fork Truck Driver
- Responsibilities:
- Material handling and receiving
- Operate fork truck to unload delivery trucks and move pallets
- Document material received, including recording incoming materials on packing list or form
- Report receipts to inventory personnel
- Stock shelves and store good in warehouse
- Gather raw material for production jobs
- Father finished goods for shipping
- Keep shelves stocked and warehouse organized
- Work with management and production to coordinate production flow
- Additional Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance on fork truck and related equipment, including changing gas tanks and checking fluid levels
- Perform janitorial duties for production areas as needed (i.e. sweeping, trash removal, etc.)
- Perform other duties that may be at the discretion of the company that could be assigned from time to time
- Qualifications:
- Must be certified or willing to obtain certification in fork truck operation. Must have knowledge of fork truck safety procedures.
- Other:
- Must have regular attendance, be on time to work location.
- Work Environment: Duties are conducted in the warehouse. Safety shoes and safety glasses are required.

Essential duties of the job include, but are not limited to:
This position requires an aggressive and enthusiastic phone personality who can articulate Standard Golf’s products and services to potential and existing customers. The qualified candidate must be able to work in a team environment. As a member of the Customer Service Team, you and associates will be responsible for providing superior customer satisfaction to customers through consistent and professional communications (both call handling and email) while following policies and procedures. This position will offer salary ($35,000 – $40,000) + commission.
- Achieve or surpass individual sales targets for new customer acquisitions, sale of essentials, and vertical features on a monthly basis while striving for the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Interface with customers via inbound calls / emails as well as creating call lists of past customers.
- Identify customer needs and sales opportunities, overcome objections, and educate the customer.
- Demonstrate strong selling, negotiation and closing skills in selling additional Standard Golf products and services to existing customers.
- Process customer requests and resolve customer issues.
- Strong computer skills needed as you will be tasked with entering orders accurately and on a timely basis as they are received
- Comply with Standard Golf policies and procedures
- Assists in other tasks or projects as assigned.
- Ability to visualize and provide the ideal customer experience in delivering outstanding service to the customer.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-year retail sales and/or telesales experience required.
- Telemarketing, outbound dialing experience preferred
- Requires strong consultative sales, negotiating, listening and probing skills.
- Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal and organization skills required.
- Must be self-motivated and a team player.
- Working knowledge of PC Windows applications (Excel and Word) required.
- Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment required.
- Knowledge of the game of golf is a plus, but not required.

Shipping Coordinator
Performs tasks necessary to complete paperwork for domestic (U.S.) and international orders to ship customer orders. Generating bills of lading, export documents and other paperwork in the shipping process. Communicates with customers and carriers by e-mail, fax, telephone regarding shipping instructions and order details. Track and trace shipments when required. Performs end of day invoicing.
- Additional Duties: works with clerical staff and assists as needed. Clerical duties including data entry, correspondence, memos, filing and helping with return products on paperwork.
- Work Relationships: Report to Traffic/Export/ Shipping manager and General Manager. Directives may also include Plant Superintendent, Production Supervisor, and Office Manager.
- Requirements: Must be familiar with computer operation. Requires detailed knowledge after instruction of freight carriers, UPS, Fed Ex, and Parcel post procedures. Must be willing to learn and understand freight classification and rates. Requires written and oral communication skills. Must learn product line within a reasonable amount of time. Must be able to read and understand route guides, instructions and documentation. Requires mathematical ability to calculate weights, dimensions, rate and associated costs.
- Mental Demands: Demonstrates good organizational and time management skills. Is able to perform under stress when confronted with deadlines and schedules. Must be able to work under pressure in an extremely busy environment. Must be able to prioritize and organize daily duties and work with interruptions, without loss of efficiency or composure. Accounting Clerk
Standard Golf Company, a 100% employee-owned company, is the leading global manufacturer and distributor of golf course accessories. We are currently looking for a full-time Accounting Clerk to assist with AP, general ledger, and month-end operations of the company.
Essential duties of the job include, but are not limited to:
- Processing of purchase orders and invoices, investigation of discrepancies/issues, and preparation of accounts payable checks weekly
- Maintain general ledger, prepare and post journal entries in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Ability to interact with all levels of employment
- Must be available to occasionally assist and serve as a back-up for miscellaneous office duties
- Gather and assemble information for various reporting requirements
- Assist with other projects/duties as may be assigned periodically
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – specifically Excel.
- Ability to take direction, be flexible and react constructively with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and unexpected events.
- General understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred Skills:
